In the Far Eastern region of Russia, a temporary ban on all types of hunting, except for hunting for the regulation of wildlife populations, has been announced for the Eastern Economic Forum (16+) from September 1 to 7. The affected districts include Artemovsky City District, Nadvezhdinsky, Hasansky, and Shkotovsky municipal districts.

This ban does not affect the ongoing waterfowl hunting season rules, such as the prohibition on shooting within 200 meters of a residential building or structure, or the prohibition on shooting "on the sound" or "on the rustle." However, it is important to note that shooting below 2.5 meters at birds taking off and flying in thickets and with limited visibility, as well as hunting waterfowl sitting on power lines and poles, are prohibited during the season.

The hunting season for waterfowl in Primorye begins on September 1 and ends on November 30. The authorities overseeing the waterfowl hunting season and imposing current hunting bans in the region are the Ministry of Natural Resources and Ecology of the Russian Federation and the Primorye regional environmental protection authorities.

It is essential to adhere to these rules to ensure the sustainable management of wildlife populations and to promote responsible hunting practices. The temporary ban on hunting during the Eastern Economic Forum (16+) is a measure aimed at minimising disturbances to wildlife and maintaining a peaceful environment during the forum.

The ban on hunting during the Eastern Economic Forum (16+) applies specifically to the four municipal formations mentioned earlier and does not include any hunting activities outside the specified dates or areas. This ban is not intended to affect ongoing hunting activities for the regulation of wildlife populations.

In summary, during the Eastern Economic Forum (16+), from September 1 to 7, a temporary ban on all types of hunting, except for hunting for the regulation of wildlife populations, will be imposed in Artemovsky City District, Nadvezhdinsky, Hasansky, and Shkotovsky municipal districts. It is crucial for all hunters to familiarise themselves with the specific rules and regulations to ensure compliance with the law.
