Hyderabad-based clean energy startup HYLENR secures $3 million in funding; Investor praises their groundbreaking technology as disruptive

Hyderabad-based clean energy startup, HYLENR, is set to raise $25 million in a fundraising round, with strategic investors and clean energy-focused funds from both the United States and Europe. The funding round was led by Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, and individual investors Karthik Sundar Iyer and Anant Sarda also participated.

The funding will enable HYLENR to accelerate the transition from pilot projects to market launch, and focus on scaling manufacturing and expanding globally. HYLENR's Co-Founder, Ram Ramaseshan, said that the funding round is a vote of confidence in their technology and mission.

HYLENR's LENR technology, which stands for Low Energy Nuclear Reactions, has been hailed as disruptive by Valour Capital's Partner, Karan Goshar. He believes that HYLENR's LENR technology has the potential to play a key role in the global energy transition.

The startup, which was founded in 2024, has already raised $3 million in a pre-Series A funding round. HYLENR has begun early proof-of-concept tests for its LENR systems, and pilot projects are underway with government institutions and industrial companies to replace fossil-based systems with LENR-powered alternatives.

Siddhartha Durairajan, Chairman and Managing Director of HYLENR, believes that LENR has the potential to be the safest and most energy-efficient thermal and electrical generation technology of the future. He stated that the recent lab results show unprecedented energy gain ratios.

HYLENR's proprietary LENR-based hybrid heat systems aim to revolutionize thermal energy generation across various industries. The startup holds two patents covering the product architecture and the process innovation behind its LENR systems. The planned products range from 7.2 kilowatts for domestic use to 1 megawatt for industrial applications.

Several government bodies and large corporations have shown interest in HYLENR's LENR systems, indicating a promising future for the startup. The next phase for HYLENR will be focused on scaling manufacturing and expanding globally, with the goal of making clean, efficient energy accessible to all.
