Hyundai Mobis will exhibit advanced mobility technologies at IAA Mobility 2025 exhibition
Hyundai Mobis, the global no. 6 automotive supplier, is gearing up for its third consecutive participation in Europe's largest mobility show, IAA, to be held at Messe Munich Center on September 9. The South Korean company, headquartered in Seoul, will present its extensive portfolio of cutting-edge technologies at the Yellow Forum (Hall A1).
At the public space, visitors will have the opportunity to witness Kia's flagship electric vehicle, the EV9, equipped with Hyundai Mobis' Holographic Windshield Display (HWD). This flagship display technology transforms the entire windshield into a screen, offering an immersive and futuristic driving experience.
Hyundai Mobis is collaborating with ZEISS, a global optical company based in Germany, to co-develop the HWD, targeting mass production by 2029. The company is also planning to invite major European automakers like Volkswagen, BMW, and Mercedes-Benz for the exhibition.
Apart from the HWD, Hyundai Mobis will showcase its battery systems, including electric vehicle battery systems (EV BSA), hybrid battery systems (HEV BSA), and plug-in hybrid (PHEV BSA). The company aims to explore additional partnership opportunities and highlight its competitive edge in various new technologies and mass production capabilities.
A media session will be held on the first day of the exhibition, where Axel Maschka, Head of Sales and Executive Vice President at Hyundai Mobis, will share insights on "Automotive Trends and Hyundai Mobis' Leading Technology."
Hyundai Mobis' sales in Europe have shown a steady upward trend, surpassing 8 trillion won last year compared to 5 trillion won in 2021. To provide a premium brand experience, the company will place greater emphasis on operating a private booth for global customers at IAA 2025.
The company's exhibition space will operate both public and private booths simultaneously. Visitors can expect to see the 'M.VICS 6.0,' a digital cockpit featuring the holographic windshield display and slideable display. Hyundai Mobis will also highlight its core technologies in integrated solutions that encompass electronics, chassis, and autonomous driving.
The company's solutions systematically implement next-generation mobility services such as cyber security, wireless communication updates, and system connectivity for integrated control of SDVs. For more information, please visit the Hyundai Mobis website at www.mobis.com.
