Implementation Duty Falls Upon the Commission for the Execution of the Project

In the heart of Wiesbaden, at Schlossplatz 6, a significant gathering took place. The NaturpΓ€dagogisches Zentrum Fasanerie played host to an expert dialogue, an important event in the city's ongoing efforts towards climate education and sustainability.

The Fasanerie, a renowned institution in Wiesbaden for its nature pedagogical offers and climate education, was the perfect setting for this important discussion. State Secretary Manuela Strube underscored the significance of early childhood education in laying the foundation for sustainable thinking and responsible action.

Approximately 50 early childhood education specialists gathered at the Fasanerie for this event, organised by the Hessian Ministry of Labor, Integration, Youth and Social Affairs (HMSI), the Green Space Office, Coordination Office Climate Education Landscape Wiesbaden, and the Office for Social Affairs, Department of Daycare Centers and Daycare Services, of the state capital Wiesbaden.

The focus of the gathering was on implementing climate protection, climate change adaptation, and sustainability in early childhood education. Kerstin Jacobs from the Coordination Office Climate Education Landscape Wiesbaden made a statement about the expert dialogue, emphasising its importance in providing a platform for specialists to network with local offers, further strengthening the quality of educational work.

Councilor Bettina Gies highlighted that the climate education landscape in Wiesbaden has been built on successful, thoughtful, and cross-departmental groundwork since the 1980s. Mayor Christiane Hinninger expressed delight that the expert dialogue took place at the Fasanerie.
