On International Museum Day, May 18, 2025, the Local Action Group of Landshut District is hosting a project inspection tour in the market town of Ergoldsbach. Ludwig Robold, the town's first mayor, and representatives from the Goldbach Museum Association will guide the tour.

The tour begins at the Goldbach Museum, a newly renovated cultural gem in Ergoldsbach. The museum's permanent exhibition, titled "Zsamm," showcases the town's rich history and local culture.

The tour will then move on to the LEADER-funded fitalPARCOURS in the nearby recreational area. This project aims to promote physical activity and well-being, offering a variety of outdoor exercise facilities for all ages.

Throughout the tour, participants will have the opportunity to inspect various LEADER-funded projects in Ergoldsbach, demonstrating how the European Union supports rural areas in self-determined development.

The tour concludes with a relaxed and individual visit to local inns in the town center, allowing attendees to unwind and enjoy Ergoldsbach's unique atmosphere.

Registration for this event is open until May 14, 2025. Interested parties are invited to send their registration to [email protected].

Please note that while the name of the head of the Goldbach Museum Association who will report on the development process of the new museum and local history during the tour is not available from the provided sources, you can expect an insightful and engaging presentation from the museum representatives.

Join us on May 18, 2025, for a unique opportunity to explore Ergoldsbach's history and LEADER-funded projects, all while supporting rural development initiatives.
