Imported Second Liebherr Crane with Capacity of 800 Tons

In an exciting development for the construction and crane rental industry, Franz Bracht Crane Rental, headquartered in Erwitte, has expanded its fleet with the acquisition of a new LTM 1750-9.1 crane. This powerful machine, manufactured by Liebherr, is set to revolutionise the company's capabilities in various sectors, including wind energy, heavy transport, autocranes, and Liebherr.

Founded in 1964, Franz Bracht Crane Rental has grown from a single company to a corporate group with 16 locations, employing around 800 people. The partnership between Franz Bracht Crane Rental and Liebherr, which began in 1975, continues to strengthen with this latest addition to the fleet.

The LTM 1750-9.1 crane is a versatile machine, designed for tasks such as bridge assembly, concrete support, industrial applications, heavy-duty lifting, wind turbine service, and wind tower assembly. One of its standout features is its ability to carry its entire telescopic boom in public road traffic, making it an efficient choice for a wide range of jobs.

The crane's first job was repair work on a wind turbine in Lรผnen, where it was set up in the TYV23EN configuration. This configuration included a 49.1-meter telescopic boom, 20 meters of lattice extensions, a 42-meter jib tip, and 204 tons of ballast, achieving a hook height of 110 meters. Notably, the LTM 1750-9.1 crane does not require an auxiliary crane for mounting rear outriggers, making it a streamlined choice for complex jobs.

The crane's lifting functions are driven by the engine in the undercarriage, ensuring efficient power distribution. The drive unit for the crane upper carriage is transported separately to the construction site and installed in self-assembly on the crane, further enhancing its adaptability.

As the construction industry continues to evolve, so too does the need for insightful and engaging content that sheds light on the people who have shaped this industry with passion, know-how, and unyielding dedication.
