DJI Mini 5 Pro: A New Drone on the Horizon
Rumours are swirling about the upcoming release of the DJI Mini 5 Pro, and it seems this drone is set to pack some impressive features.
The Mini 5 Pro is said to be the latest addition to DJI's popular Mini series, with the company confirming its role as the producer and distributor.
One of the most intriguing features rumoured for the Mini 5 Pro is its advanced sensor suite. It's believed to include forward-facing LiDAR sensors and omnidirectional infrared vision sensors, which could offer improved obstacle detection and navigation.
In terms of photography and video capabilities, the Mini 5 Pro is rumoured to sport a 24mm lens with an f/1.8 aperture, allowing for bright and sharp images even in low light conditions. The drone is also rumoured to have a 1-inch image sensor, capable of supporting up to 4K 120fps video, a significant leap from its predecessors.
The Mini 5 Pro is also expected to offer improved battery life. The standard battery is rumoured to last for 36 minutes, while the Mini 5 Pro Plus battery, with its 3,350mAh capacity, is said to offer a 52-minute flight time - a 15% increase compared to the Mini 4 Pro Plus battery's life.
The Mini 5 Pro's gimbal is also rumoured to support 225o movement, including vertical shooting, providing more flexibility for photographers and videographers. Additionally, there are whispers of a 48mm medium telephoto shooting mode, which could offer stunning close-up shots.
As for its launch date, the Mini 5 Pro is rumoured to be launched in mid-September, although official confirmation is yet to be announced.
