In a noteworthy development, Dassendorf defeats the youthful Teutons in the league summit.

In a challenging encounter in the Oberliga, FC Teutonia 05 faced off against TuS Dassendorf and unfortunately came up short, losing 5-0. The youthful team, with an average age of 20.5 years, demonstrated resilience against a formidable opponent.

The game began on a disappointing note for Teutonia, as Fabian Graudenz scored the first goal for TuS Dassendorf just four minutes into the match. The young side continued to battle, but found themselves two goals down when Zhi-Gin Lam, a former HSV professional, scored at the seventh minute.

Coach Mehdi Saeedi-Madani, who oversees FC Teutonia 05, acknowledged the difficulty of the match, stating that these types of games against top opponents provide valuable learning experiences for the team. He emphasised that the team's goal for the second half was to concede fewer goals and potentially score one or two.

Despite their efforts, TuS Dassendorf continued to dominate, with Kristof Kurczynski scoring two goals in the 25th and 40th minutes, respectively, to make it 4-0 at half-time. The second half proved to be a more defensive battle for Teutonia, with Phil Kolvenbach putting in an outstanding performance to prevent a worse defeat.

In the final minutes of the game, substitute Soobin Jung had a chance to score for Teutonia, but his shot went just wide, missing the second goal for the Ottensen team. The final score remained 5-0 in favour of TuS Dassendorf, marking a tough loss for FC Teutonia 05 but a valuable learning experience for their young players.
