In the city of Betong, Malaysia, an unfortunate incident occurred on the Pan Borneo Highway on September 4. According to a statement issued by the Fire and Rescue Department (Bomba), an SUV crashed near Rumah Panjang Melayu Ulu.
The accident, which took place at 5.58pm, resulted in the tragic loss of two women. The spokesperson for Bomba confirmed the news, but did not provide further details about the cause of the accident.
Upon arrival at the scene, a team from the Betong fire station found that the accident involved an SUV with three victims trapped inside. The victims consisted of one adult male and two adult females.

The Ministry of Health (MoH) later confirmed the deaths of the two women. The injured male victim was seriously injured in the same accident.
