In Barcelona, the Andorra Taste forum showcases a fusion of Pyrenees and Japanese culinary artistry with four skilled chefs.
Andorra Taste, a renowned gastronomic event, is set to return from September 17 to 21, 2025. This year's edition promises to be an exciting gathering of some of the most influential figures in global cuisine.
The event, organised by Vocento Gastronomía-grup gsr and Andorra Turisme, will take place in Soldeu, Andorra. It will bring together chefs, producers, and defenders of the territory, creating a unique meeting forum.
Collaborations and Special Guests
One of the highlights of this year's event is the collaboration between Francis Paniego, an essential figure of mountain cuisine in the Sierra de la Demanda, and Catalan chef Jordi Grau at Ibaya, the starred restaurant in Soldeu.
Jordi Vilà, known for his contemporary take on Catalan recipes, will also be present. Other notable guests include Stephane Tournié, a great ambassador of southwestern French cuisine, and Oriol Castro, one of the leading figures of global creative vanguard.
Representing the Alps and Beyond
Andorra Taste 2025 will feature chefs from France, Switzerland, Austria, and Slovenia, showcasing the depth and diversity of Alpine cuisine. Notable attendees include Emmanuel Renaut (France), Zineb Hattab (Switzerland), Maximilian Stock (Austria), and Uroš Štefelin (Slovenia).
Georgia will be the special invited territory, showcasing its ancestral cuisine based on the biodiversity of the Georgian mountains. Daduna Ghlonti, creative director of the Georgian Association of Gastronomic and Rural Tourism, will represent Georgia at Andorra Taste.
Focus on Quality and Sustainability
In this edition of Andorra Taste, the focus will be on quality versus quantity to offer an inspiring experience that connects high mountain territories. The event will also discuss sustainability, tradition, creativity, and future from the altitude and territorial identity.
Live music will accompany the high-mountain gastronomy party, adding to the festive atmosphere. The popular gastronomic fair that concludes Andorra Taste will offer a sample of gastronomic proposals from several Andorran towns in tapas format, gastronomic workshops, tastings, and showcookings.
Special Sessions and Workshops
Fernando Mora, Master of Wine, will share his vision on mountain wine and the challenges faced by extreme viticulture in times of climate change. Javier Olleros, pioneer in sustainability and Atlantic kilometer-zero, will participate in discussions on sustainability.
Pau Santamaria, son of renowned Catalan chef Santi Santamaria, will share his knowledge on a mountain star product: mushrooms. The Kids' Classroom will be a space thought especially for children, offering interactive sessions on cooking and food appreciation.
Honouring Gastronomic Pioneers
Ferran Adrià will be honoured at Andorra Taste 2025, recognising his significant contributions to the world of gastronomy. Luis Alberto Lera, defender of sustainable hunting and Castilian flavors, will also be among the participating chefs.
Sergio Sanz, one of the most promising emerging voices of the Aragonese Pyrenees, will be present at Andorra Taste. Hideki Matsuhisa, offering the Asian touch with his delicate Japanese cuisine in Koy Hermitage, will be present as well.
