In commemoration of its 50th anniversary, the Kips Bay Decorator Show House makes its reemergence in New York, with a six-story Greenwich Village townhouse serving as its artistic subject.

In September 2025, a six-story Greenwich Village townhouse at 20 West 12th Street will once again be transformed into a showcase of exceptional interior design, as 21 leading designers and architects participate in the 2025 Kips Bay Decorator Show House.

The townhouse, boasting features such as 13-foot ceilings, seven wood-burning fireplaces, eight bedrooms, nine bathrooms, a private garden, and an original Otis elevator, will be a canvas for these talented professionals to showcase their unique design styles.

One of the participating designers is Mark Hampton LLC, founded by Mark Hampton in 1988 and now led by his daughter, Alexa. Known for timeless interiors around the globe, Mark Hampton LLC has authored books on decorating, and has licensed collections of furniture, lighting, textiles, and more. This will be their fifth time participating in the Kips Bay Show House and their 50th year in business.

Another designer taking part is Christopher Peacock, whose namesake brand for luxury cabinetry was launched in 1992. Notable clients of Christopher Peacock include two U.S. presidents. His kitchen designs are analogous to architectural tailoring, being fitted, refined, and effortlessly elevated.

Jamie Drake, a featured designer, shapes institutions with his work, spanning function, glamour, and history. Jamie Drake has been part of the Show House story as a designer and as vice chair of the Kips Bay Decorator Show House and co-chair of its iconic President's Dinner.

Ben Pentreath Studio, led by Ben Pentreath, an award-winning architect and decorator who studied at the University of Edinburgh and the Prince of Wales' Institute of Architecture, is also participating. Known for its refined European aesthetic, the studio blends classical structure with modern elements like custom millwork, dramatic lighting, and smart technology.

Corey Damen Jenkins, the principal and CEO of Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates, is another designer taking part. He is known for his fearless use of color, texture, and pattern. Corey Damen Jenkins & Associates has worked on historic homes and landmark apartments in Chicago and New York before returning to London.

The Kips Bay Decorator Show House was first founded in 1973 to fund the after-school and enrichment programs of the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Since then, the Show House tradition has expanded to Palm Beach and Dallas. The designers and architects have differing interior design styles, promising a diverse and inspiring exhibition for all who attend.
