In the town of Vaihingen at the Enz, an individual managed an escape from a traffic stop and accident scene; authorities seek any potential eyewitnesses for further investigation.

In the quiet neighbourhood of Tulpenweg, Vaihingen an der Enz, a dramatic event unfolded on the evening of November 27, 2024. A BMW, which had been declared off-road and sported stolen license plates, fled from a routine traffic check, colliding with a stone wall at the end of the cul-de-sac.

The crash, which occurred around 21:35, caused approximately €10,000 in damages to the BMW and around €1,000 in damages to the stone wall. The driver of the vehicle, described as approximately 175 cm tall, of slim build, with dark, long hair and a dark beard, fled on foot towards Ziegelgartenstraße.

The BMW's off-road status and stolen license plates have raised suspicions, leading the Ludwigsburg Traffic Police Department to take over the investigation. Witnesses with relevant information are urged to contact the department at 0711 6869-0 or via email at [email protected].

The stone wall sustained around €1,000 in damages due to the crash. The driver's identity and the circumstances leading to the high-speed pursuit remain unknown at this time.
