Incident in Dusseldorf: Ill-advised kicks occur during early hours, targeting a basket
In the heart of the city, Hafenstraße played host to the vibrant KG Rainbow celebration on 23.2. The event, filled with music, laughter, and colourful festivities, was captured by the skilled lens of photographer Karina Hermsen.
Andreas Mauska, the current prince of KG Rainbow, presided over the celebration. He was joined by Leonie I, the fool princess, who put on a captivating performance. The Hammer, Heinz Huelshoff, the Wimmer Band, and singer Bianca Schnelle also took to the stage, contributing to an entertaining programme.
The prince was seen using a bench to shield his tea from the abundant confetti that filled the air. In a light-hearted moment, he jokingly compared himself to the Statue of Liberty, adding to the festive atmosphere.
Meanwhile, the Narren Frühschoppen, another colourful event, was also covered by Karina Hermsen's photography. A household ladder was set up so the Tollitäten could speak to their Narrenvolk, creating a unique and engaging spectacle.
For those interested in reliving these events through photographs, both the KG Rainbow celebration and the Narren Frühschoppen galleries are available. To order photos from the KG Rainbow celebration, simply send an email with the photo numbers to media@ourwebsite. For the Narren Frühschoppen gallery, donations are appreciated, and you can send your request with the photo numbers to the same email address.
However, it's worth noting that while the events ran smoothly, neighboring establishments had complaints about the music groups taking up too much space. Fortunately, no employees of the public order office were called this year.
DJ Dirk provided musical entertainment at the KG Rainbow celebration, ensuring the party atmosphere was maintained throughout. The event concluded with a memorable celebration, captured beautifully by Karina Hermsen's camera.
