Frontiers and MyScienceWork Partner to Boost Open Access Research

In a significant move towards promoting open access and open science, Frontiers, an award-winning Open Science platform and leading Open Access scholarly publisher, has partnered with MyScienceWork (MSW) as of July 5th, 2021. This partnership, effective from June 2021, aims to enhance the research experience for academics and broaden the reach of scientific knowledge.

Under this agreement, Frontiers will grant unrestricted access to an additional 200,000 of its peer-reviewed research articles. These articles are indexed across 103 journals, spanning 866 academic disciplines, covering all scientific disciplines across all countries. This extensive collection of research will be integrated into MyScienceWork's scientific database, a free platform for sharing and looking up academic papers.

Dr. Fred Fenter, chief executive editor of Frontiers, warmly welcomed the agreement, stating, "This partnership is part of Frontiers' ongoing commitment to making all science open. Our mission is to make research results openly available to the world."

The CNRS (National Centre for Scientific Research) is currently the first global repository in France participating in the Frontiers partnership pact. This partnership falls under MyScienceWork's priority of Open Access and Open Science.

MyScienceWork, with its mission to accelerate research and democratise science, indexes multiple sources representing over 90M articles and 12M patents. The platform hosts an average of a million visitors per month, making it a popular destination for researchers worldwide.

Frontiers' articles have been viewed and downloaded over a billion times, underscoring the platform's impact on the global scientific community. With this partnership, Frontiers becomes the first global repository in France to have partnered with MyScienceWork.
