Indiana University (No. 20) recovers from initial sluggishness to emerge victorious against Old Dominion University.

In a thrilling game that took place in Bloomington, Indiana, the Hoosiers emerged victorious against the Old Dominion Monarchs with a score of 27-14.

The Hoosiers' offense was a force to be reckoned with, racking up an impressive 309 rushing yards throughout the game. Kaelon Black scored a touchdown from the 2-yard line, capping a 75-yard drive, while Jonathan Brady added a dramatic 91-yard punt return touchdown to boost Indiana's lead.

Fernando Mendoza, the Hoosiers' quarterback, had a standout performance, rushing for a 5-yard touchdown and completing 18 out of 31 passes for 193 yards. Mendoza also scored a touchdown for Indiana.

Joseph did manage to score a touchdown with a 78-yard run, but it was not enough to turn the tide in Old Dominion's favour. The Monarchs' final score came with 6:53 remaining in the game, but it was too little, too late.

The second-year head coach of the Indiana Hoosiers, Darian DeVries, led his team to a hard-fought victory, while Old Dominion's coach, Curt Cignetti, saw his team's opener slip away for the second consecutive year.

This was an exciting game that showcased the talent and determination of both teams. The Hoosiers will look to build on this victory as they continue their season, while the Monarchs will aim to bounce back in their next game.
