A robbery took place at a kiosk on Stein Street in Recklinghausen on Thursday afternoon, according to a statement from the Police Headquarters Recklinghausen. The incident occurred around 15:50.

The suspect, described as a male, approximately 1.80m tall, slim, with dark eyes, wearing faded blue jeans, a black hoodie with "HUGO" on the hood and a red emblem on the left chest, and a grey cap, threatened a 69-year-old employee with a knife. The suspect demanded cash, cigarettes, and drinks before fleeing towards B224/Essener Street, heading north.
