Individual in distress, Exhibit No. 0589, experiencing high levels of agitation...
In the heart of Bremen's old town, an unsettling incident unfolded on Wednesday. A 59-year-old man entered a public institution located on Bürgerstraße, seeking legal assistance. However, when informed that assistance would only be available later, the man became agitated and began to threaten the employees.
The man performed the Nazi salute multiple times and threatened both employees with death. At around 2 p.m., he was asked to leave the building by a 39-year-old employee, but he refused and became more aggressive.
A 47-year-old colleague intervened and managed to subdue the man, holding him until the police arrived. A search of the man's backpack revealed a knife and scissors within easy reach. The man was subsequently restrained until the police arrived and took him into custody.
The man has been banned from the premises, and criminal charges have been filed against him for threats, using unconstitutional symbols, and possession of a dangerous weapon. The motives behind the man's outburst remain unclear, and investigations are ongoing.
