A kiosk on Steinstraße in Recklinghausen was the scene of a robbery on Thursday afternoon. According to information transmitted by Police Headquarters Recklinghausen via news aktuell, the perpetrator threatened a 69-year-old employee with a knife and demanded cash, cigarettes, and drinks.

The suspect is described as a male, approximately 1.80m tall, slim, with dark eyes, wearing a mask, faded blue jeans, a black jacket with a hood (with "HUGO" on the hood and a red emblem on the left chest), and a grey cap. After receiving the demanded items, the perpetrator fled towards B224/Essener Straße (heading north).

Despite immediate search measures, the perpetrator could not be found. The loot was stored in a green plastic bag, and video footage is being evaluated for further investigation.
