In a series of unfortunate events, break-ins have been reported over the weekend in three cities in North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. Here's a rundown of the incidents:
Dorsten
Unknown suspects broke into a single-family home on Buchenhöfe Street between 2:15 PM and 5:15 PM on Sunday. The perpetrators are believed to have entered through a terrace door and made off with jewelry and cash.

On Friday evening at around 9:50 PM, an alert neighbour prevented suspected burglars from entering a single-family home on Brukenthalweg. Meanwhile, on Saturday, three suspected burglars were described as follows: Male 1 - 40-45 years old, 5'11", normal build, dark hair, beard, light-colored pants, black sweater; Male 2 - 30-40 years old, 5'11", slim, dark hair, blue jeans, hoodie; Female - approximately 5'5".
Bottrop
Over the weekend, unknown suspects entered a school on Karl-Englert-Straße. The incident occurred from Friday, 5:00 PM, to Monday, 7:00 AM. At the moment, it's unclear if anything was stolen from the school.
Marl
On Saturday evening at around 11:13 PM, unknown suspects attempted to pry open a window of a row house on Mecklenburger Straße. The homeowner's dog alerted a witness who saw two unknown men (about 5'7", wearing hoodies) enter a silver compact car and flee towards Langehegge.
Oer-Erkenschwick
Over the weekend, unknown suspects pried open a window of a school building on Christoph-Stover-Straße and attempted to force open two more doors but were unsuccessful. No information on potential stolen goods is available at the time of the report.
