The suspect, described as approximately 180 cm tall, slightly overweight, and around the age of 20, led the victim through Frankfurt and Giessen before the robbery. The meeting location was initially set in Cologne, but was later changed to Watzenborn-Steinberg, Pohlheim, where the robbery occurred on August 20th.
