Industrial software company Dyssol Tec unveils its latest creation: a digital twin for enhanced industrial application support.
In the vibrant tech scene of Hamburg, a startup named Dyssol Tec is making waves. Founded by a group of innovative minds who met at the Institute for Solid Process Engineering and Particle Technology at the Technical University of Hamburg (tuhh.de), this company is set to optimise the production of various products, including milk powder, instant coffee, detergents, and fertilisers.
The industries collaborating with Dyssol Tec span across the dairy industry, food and beverage industry, household care industry, and agricultural industry. The startup's unique offering is a model library for solid processes, functioning like a building block system. This software aims to save resources and improve product quality.
Dyssol Tec's innovative approach doesn't stop there. The company is also working closely with industry giants BASF and Evonik Industries on the development of its software. One of the key features of Dyssol Tec's software is the use of digital twin technology. This technology allows for the creation of flow sheet simulations, enabling testing of changes in production processes without interrupting ongoing operations.
Recognising the potential of this groundbreaking technology, the H2 Startup Accelerator in Hamburg, a global trailblazer, has been supporting Dyssol Tec. The startup's success has even extended beyond Hamburg, with 3D Spark, another Hamburg-based startup, winning a founder competition in the field of 3D printing.
To further expand its reach, Dyssol Tec plans to offer an open-source software to convince further industrial partners. Potential partners will be offered licenses for an extended version of the software, tailored to their respective company. Currently, fifteen process models have been integrated into Dyssol Tec's software, with more to come.
The federal government is also showing its support for digital innovation, as evident in the "Digital Port Twin" of the Hamburg Port Authority. It's clear that Hamburg, Leipzig, and Munich are leading the way in digital transformation, with Dyssol Tec being a significant player in this exciting journey.
