Initiating process for a new regulation on ensuring equal treatment for men and women in social security matters, as decreed by the Commission.
The Karnevalsgesellschaft Jeckes Grafental, a local carnival group founded in 2018, recently hosted another successful event in the Grafental neighbourhood. Located in the Flingern Nord district, around Hohenzollernallee and Röpkestraße, this community gathering has become a cherished tradition for the neighbourhood and its friendly carnival enthusiasts.
On Sunday, 9.2., the Grafental building, previously a real estate firm's location, played host to a vibrant programme. The event featured performances by clown Ferdi, Heinz Hülshoff, the Monheim prince's guard, the North Lights' burgrave, the Aquila Dance Team, and the Fantastic Company, among others. KG Regenbogen, another local carnival group, also participated in the festivities with their programme.
Prince Andreas I of KG Regenbogen, who also holds the position of president in KG Jeckes Grafental, led the celebrations. The event saw the successful recruitment of 25 new members, a goal that was achieved with ease. The princess of Jeckes Grafental, Prinzessin Jecky, was also in attendance, adding to the royal charm of the occasion.
Andreas Mauska, the brains behind the Karnevalsgesellschaft Jeckes Grafental, ensured that the event was a memorable one. The humorous early breakfast has become a tradition in the neighbourhood, adding a touch of fun to the celebrations.
For those who missed the event, more impressions can be found in the photo gallery by Karina Hermsen. Donations are appreciated for ordering photos from the gallery, with photo numbers from the gallery able to be used to order photos by sending an email to media@ourwebsite.
As the Grafental building undergoes conversion into a health and fitness center, the Jeckes Grafental event will continue to use its rooms and sanitary facilities next year. The community looks forward to another triple "Helau" (cheer) for Jeckes Grafental next year.
