Injury of Motorcyclist in Kornwestheim due to Second Bout of Sleep Behind the Wheel (Police's Report from Poland)
On Monday, September 1, 2025, a motorcyclist aged 65 was involved in an accident on Stuttgart Street in Kornwestheim, Ludwigsburg. Initial investigations suggest that the motorcyclist may have fallen asleep at the wheel, causing the accident.
The accident occurred at around 10:10 PM and involved a Mercedes parked on the side of the road. As a result of the accident, the motorcyclist sustained severe injuries and was taken to a hospital by ambulance. The motorcyclist's vehicle was no longer roadworthy after the accident and had to be towed away.
The location of the accident was Stuttgart Street in Kornwestheim, Ludwigsburg. The total damage to property from the accident was approximately 13,000 euros.
