Integrated Parking Area Heißbergfriedhof Now Part of Park Zone BU3 in Residential Parks

In an effort to alleviate parking congestion in Zone BU 3, the local municipal parking authority or city council managing that area will be expanding the Residents' Parking Zone at the Heißberg Cemetery on Wednesday, September 10.

The expanded area will be equipped with a new parking meter for non-residents, and payment will be required from Monday to Friday between 9 am and 7 pm, and on Saturdays between 9 am and 2 pm. Non-residents will be charged 50 cents for every 20 minutes, with a minimum charge of one euro. Eligible residents of Zone BU 3 with a parking permit, however, will be able to park their vehicles in the expanded area free of charge.

To ensure the safety of pedestrians, four red-and-white bollards will be installed to separate the pedestrian path from the car park. This includes a pedestrian path from Robert-Schuman-Straße to the cemetery entrance, which will also be separated using the same bollards.

The installation of the bollards and the new parking meter is part of a larger initiative to improve the overall parking situation in the area. The expansion aims to provide more parking spaces for residents while maintaining a clear pedestrian path throughout the cemetery.

At this time, no further information about the RSS feed for press releases was provided. For updates and additional information, residents are encouraged to contact their local municipal parking authority or city council.
