A fire broke out on the 4th floor of a parking garage in Silberstraße, Dortmund, on the evening of August 25, 2025, at 18:13. The incident was quickly resolved, with the fire department deploying three fire trucks from both the professional and volunteer fire departments.

The fire involved construction materials on a parking deck under renovation, and the first fire truck extinguished the fire from the outside. The fire department dispatched a "building alarm" as the parking garage is connected to the Saturn store.
