International Aviation Expo of 2025 Highlights Emerging Air Mobility Technology on a Global Stage in Dubai
Dubai is set to take the lead in the global race towards next-generation mobility with the construction of vertiports and the introduction of flying taxi services, as early as next year. This ambitious project forms part of Dubai's broader efforts to establish itself as a hub for advanced aviation manufacturing.
The Dubai Airshow 2025, held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, will serve as a pivotal platform for advancing regulation, infrastructure, and manufacturing related to next-generation mobility. The event, scheduled from 17-21 November, will take place at Dubai World Central.
The airshow is expected to be the world's largest showcase of advanced air mobility, featuring over 1,500 exhibitors. Leading players like Archer Aviation, Joby Aviation, Autocraft, and Skyports will unveil new aircraft, infrastructure, and market strategies. A dedicated AAM Pavilion will showcase full-scale electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft (eVTOLs), drones, and breakthrough technologies.
Saif Mohammed Al-Suwaidi, Director General of the UAE's General Civil Aviation Authority, will present the nation's roadmap for sustainable airspace at the event. Global CEOs and innovators will join him to discuss this roadmap, aiming to accelerate the commercial reality of next-generation mobility.
The Dubai Airshow 2025 will also feature 12 conference tracks with 350 speakers, providing ample opportunities for discussions and knowledge exchange. The German Pavilion will feature around 25 German companies presenting approximately 39 products and services, indicating a diverse exhibitor presence. First-time exhibitors from India and China will also participate in the event, further enhancing its international flavour.
