In the world of football, debuts can often be a mixed bag of emotions. This was the case for Nnamdi Collins, a 21-year-old football professional from Eintracht Frankfurt, who made his international debut for the German National Team in a 0:2 loss against Slovakia.

Captain Joshua Kimmich came to the defense of Collins, stating that he was not entirely to blame for the loss. Kimmich, who himself had a rocky start with the German National Team over nine years ago against Slovakia, offered words of encouragement, telling Collins that he could still play 100 more matches for the team.

The national coach, Nagelsmann, expressed understanding for Collins' difficult debut. He felt that the young defender lacked support during the match, specifically mentioning the absence of internationally experienced teammate Antonio Rüdiger as a missed opportunity. Rüdiger had committed a tactical foul against the Slovak defender Isaac Price during the match, for which he received a yellow card.

Nagelsmann did not place blame on Collins for the loss. Instead, he highlighted the need for experienced players to support the younger ones, a lesson learned from the match.

Meanwhile, in Hamm, there were other news items making headlines. Thousands participated in the 16th AOK company run, and the ADFC Hamm is demanding a fixed crossing aid for Römerstraße. Additionally, there is a voting arena in focus in Hamm for the youth.
