Interplay of dance and melodies
The Pulse Lab #6, a renowned platform for artistic exploration, will be presenting a unique event to the public in the form of a "glimpse". This event, titled "Dance Meets Music", is a workshop aimed at professionals and young enthusiasts alike, and will take place from October 2 to 4 in the Hansesaal Lünen.
The "Dance Meets Music" workshop, funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and Media, invites professional musicians, composers, sound artists, choreographers, dancers, and performers to participate. This workshop, which is part of the Pulse Lab #6, will be conducted by Jelena Ivanovic (choreography) and Markus Stollenwerk (music).
Jelena Ivanovic, a trained dancer and choreographer from Essen, is the artistic director of the ensemble Tanzgebiet. She is known for leading workshops that combine dance and music, and is active in cultural management and artistic projects in Germany.
The workshop will be held at Bürgerzentrum Gahmen (Kuemperheide 2, 44532 Lünen). Participants are required to register at kltrbrlnnd and should bring comfortable clothing, socks, and possibly their own instrument.
For young people aged 12 to 18, there is a special youth workshop titled "Dance Meets Music". This workshop invites participants to explore their creative expression.
The Pulse Lab #6 focuses on the artistic process, dialogue, and the experimental interaction of different disciplines. Participation in the Pulse Lab #6 includes a reimbursement of expenses, but travel and accommodation costs are not included.
Applications for the Pulse Lab #6 should be sent to cmmmrmrlsd, and the application deadline is September 2nd. The "Dance Meets Music" workshop will be held on October 23 and 24, and is a free event for participants.
