In the early hours of February 25, 2025, an office complex on Γ„ußere Bayreuther Straße in Nuremberg fell victim to a break-in. Unknown perpetrators forced their way into several office rooms and cabinets, causing significant property damage.

The Criminal Police have since identified a suspect in relation to this break-in. The individual in question is a 22-year-old man from Moldova, who had a history of theft offenses. Previous investigations had been conducted on this suspect.

The DNA trace from the crime scene was matched to this individual. The suspect was last in custody for another break-in on March 16, 2025. Despite extensive searches, the current whereabouts of the suspect are not mentioned in the available search results.

However, it is confirmed that the suspect was subsequently deported to his home country. Contrary to initial fears, no loot was made during the break-in. In an attempt to force open a safe, the area's fire alarm system was triggered, but the perpetrators fled due to the alarm.
