Investigation Commenced after Tesla Cybertruck Explosion at a Hotel in Las Vegas
The Las Vegas Police Department is currently investigating an explosion that occurred outside the Trump International Hotel on New Year's Day 2025. The incident involved a Tesla Cybertruck, which caught fire after emitting smoke, leading to a tragic outcome.
The explosion resulted in the death of the driver, an Army veteran named Matthew, who later succumbed to a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Seven other individuals were also injured in the incident, but their injuries were not severe.
As the investigation continues, authorities are exploring possible motives and linking the event to a suspicious act. However, they have not yet made any definitive conclusions public. The focus of the investigation is on a potential act of terror, with the motive under review.
The incident unfolded near the entrance of the Trump Hotel. The Tesla Cybertruck was on fire immediately after the explosion.
