Investigators are seeking individuals who may have information on theft incidents in the Recklinghausen/Bottrop area.

A series of break-ins and thefts have been reported in the Recklinghausen district and its surrounding areas, causing concern among residents and authorities alike. The incidents, which include burglaries in Recklinghausen, Gladbeck, Marl, and Bottrop, are believed to be connected through recent criminal and public safety events in the region.

In Recklinghausen, unknown perpetrators gained access to an apartment on Hohenzollernstraße between 2 PM and 8 PM on Thursday. The intruders also managed to break into an apartment on Morianstraße between 1 PM and 3 PM on the same day, both through open windows. On Schützenstraße, burglars forced their way into an apartment between Wednesday evening and Thursday evening.

In Gladbeck, a safe containing cash and a coin collection was stolen from an apartment on Schützenstraße during a break-in. It is not yet clear whether anything was stolen from the house on Uechtmannstraße, but it is certain that jewelry was taken from the latter. The perpetrators mainly searched the bedroom for loot in Gladbeck.

In Marl, a witness observed an unknown man attempting to climb into a ground-floor apartment through a bathroom window, accompanied by another man and a woman. The three individuals fled over Riegestraße towards Hervester Straße and got into a car on the corner of Paul-Klee-Straße.
