Investigators are seeking individuals who may have observed a collision involving an e-scooter and a pedal-assisted bicycle.

On Wednesday, August 27, 2025, at around 7:40 AM, a hit-and-run incident occurred on the bike path of Weseler Straße in Dinslaken, near house numbers 188 and 194. The incident involved a Pedelec rider and a 14-year-old driver of an E-scooter.

The Pedelec rider, described as a man approximately 23 to 28 years old, about 175 cm tall, with short blonde curls, was riding a black women's Pedelec. Before the collision, the Pedelec rider had a brief conversation with the 14-year-old victim. Unfortunately, the Pedelec rider left the scene without providing any assistance.

After the collision, the Pedelec rider fell but stood up quickly, adjusted the handlebars, and proceeded towards Voerde. The Traffic Commission 2 of the police in Wesel is currently investigating the incident.
