In a significant move for the blockchain and finance sector, Canza Finance has secured $5.57 million in a strategic funding round, with Polychain Capital leading the investment.

The latest round brings Canza's total funding to approximately $5.57 million, building on its successful seed round worth $3.27 million, raised nearly two years ago.

Joining Polychain Capital in this round are Protocol Labs, Avalanche's Blizzard fund, 99 Capital, Stratified Capital, and Hyperithm.

While Canza Finance has not disclosed specific countries as its largest markets in the available information, CTO Oluwoye mentioned that Nigeria, Cameroon, Senegal, and the United States are among the company's biggest markets. Most trades facilitated by Canza occur in the Africa-Asia and Africa-Middle East corridors.

However, the company declined to comment on its current valuation, keeping the details of this round under wraps.
