Latraps Bond Offer Attracts Wide Interest, Aims to Boost Latvia's Economy

Latraps, a Latvian company, has launched a bond offer that has garnered interest from both private and institutional investors, with over 300 participants taking part in the offer. The capital raised from this bond issue is planned to be used for the implementation of the ASNS Ingredient project, a pea protein isolate production plant in Latvia.

Roberts Strīpnieks, Chairman of the Board of Latraps, has expressed gratitude to investors for their participation in the bond offer. He stated that the goal of the bond issue is to build the largest pea protein isolate production facility in Northern Europe, ASNS Ingredient. This project is set to be the largest of its kind in the region.

The organiser of the Latraps bond is AS "Signet Bank", while legal advice for the bond issue is provided by law firm "TGS Baltic". Following the issue, Latraps will apply for admission of the bonds to the Nasdaq Baltic First North alternative market.

The bondholders will receive quarterly coupon (interest) payments, with the first coupon payment scheduled for March 31, 2025. The bonds will be settled on December 12, 2024.

The development of the agricultural sector is a part of the goal of the bond offering for Latraps. The first construction works for the ASNS Ingredient project are scheduled to start this month. The bond offering aims to strengthen Latvia's position on the world economic map, although this has yet to be confirmed.

It's worth noting that Latvian investors accounted for more than 90% of the total demand in the bond offer for Latraps.
