The tech world is abuzz with excitement as Apple unveils the design for the clear case of its upcoming iPhone 17 Pro. According to leaks, the case is set to feature a unique and unusual design, deviating from the familiar aesthetics of previous models.

Seasoned Apple leaker, Majin Bu, has shared photos of the official Apple clear case for the iPhone 17 Pro, revealing a large, non-transparent section on the back. This section is believed to correspond with a glass cutout for wireless charging, making it a practical addition to the iPhone 17 Pro's design.

The clear case also includes a massive camera cutout, hinting at the iPhone 17 Pro's rumoured significant camera upgrade. The back of the iPhone 17 Pro is said to be the thinnest iPhone ever, a departure from the bulkier designs of its predecessors.

Interestingly, the iPhone 17 Pro's logo will not be in the middle of the phone, a departure from the traditional Apple design. The official clear case for the iPhone 17 Pro, known as the "TechWoven Case" and the fundamentally redesigned "Clear Case," has been developed by Apple itself.

Rumours suggest that Apple is ditching glass and titanium in favour of an aluminum finish for the iPhone 17 Pro, contributing to its sleek and slim design. However, the iPhone 17 Pro is also rumoured to have the biggest camera bump ever, a potential drawback for some consumers.

The iPhone 17 Pro's design changes, while generating much discussion, may not necessarily indicate an improvement in quality or performance. The design, which some describe as a mix of various parts, resembling something of a Frankenstein, is seen as a departure from the underwhelming iPhone 16 launch.

Apple is also planning to release a successor to its FineWoven cases, further adding to the anticipation surrounding the iPhone 17 Pro's launch. The iPhone 17 lineup is expected to be different from previous versions, with the clear case for the iPhone 17 Pro being the first official glimpse into these changes.

While the iPhone 17 Pro's design changes are not yet fully confirmed by Apple, the reveal of the clear case has certainly piqued the curiosity of consumers and tech enthusiasts alike. The iPhone 17 Pro is set to be a significant departure from its predecessors, and only time will tell if it will live up to the hype.
