Jenny Han addresses criticism towards the recent installment of 'TSITP' (To All the Boys I've Loved Before)
In the latest episode of the popular TV series "The Summer I Turned Pretty," a small inconsistency has caught the attention of fans. In episode eight, Belly (played by Lola Tung) buys a ticket to Paris, and Conrad (played by Christopher Briney) is seen waiting to board a plane back to California, both at the Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
However, some viewers have pointed out an inconsistency in the airport locations for Belly and Conrad. If Conrad is going to California, he should be on the other side of the airport, as his flight is domestic, while Belly's flight to Paris is international. This observation has sparked discussions among fans on social media.
Fans have also questioned a scene where Belly looks over the waiting area and spots Conrad waiting to board a plane. In a surprising twist, it was revealed in the following episode that Belly and Jeremiah's (played by Gavin Casalegno) engagement ended, and Belly bought a ticket to Paris from Boston Logan airport.
This inconsistency has not gone unnoticed by author Jenny Han, who addressed the issue by sharing a screenshot of massport.com's website. The screenshot clearly reads: "International Departures," indicating that it is possible for international flights to depart from various terminals at Boston Logan airport.
Terminal E is the primary international terminal at Boston Logan, serving international arrivals and departures. The final three episodes of the show move beyond the book trilogy written by Han between 2009 to 2011, providing fans with new and exciting developments.
Fans should always check their airline directly for gate assignments prior to arriving at the airport to avoid any confusion. The next episode, episode 9 of The Summer I Turned Pretty, will premiere on September 3. The series, based on a love triangle involving characters Conrad, Jeremiah, and Belly, continues to captivate audiences with its emotional storyline and engaging characters.
