Join 'Weiler 1 Oxford' Cooperative Housing Event in Münster
Join us for an informative event about the cooperative housing project 'Weiler 1 Oxford' in Münster, hosted by the Housing and Neighborhood Development Office. The event will be moderated by Birgit Pohlmann, a housing project developer, and Kathrin Fennhoff. Mark your calendars for October 7th at 6:30 PM at the Kurbelbox e.V. community center in Green Weiler.
The event will delve into the first construction and living project of the cooperative 'Green Weiler eG' on the site of the former Oxford barracks in Gievenbeck. Attendees will learn about the diverse range of housing forms catering to various age groups and life situations, with over 120 apartments for approximately 250 residents. The project is expected to be completed in spring 2025.
In addition to the housing details, the event will also highlight the communal aspects of the project. This includes shared spaces such as co-working areas, event spaces, woodworking and bike repair shops, and a shared kitchen and dining area dubbed 'Kulinarium'. These communal features aim to foster a sense of community among the residents.
The event promises to provide a comprehensive overview of the 'Weiler 1 Oxford' cooperative housing project.
