New TVC Campaign Unveils Tough and Stylish Kamiliant Luggage

Kamiliant, the travel gear brand established in 2014 and a sub-brand of American Tourister owned by Samsonite, has launched its first-ever TVC campaign. The campaign, designed to showcase the brand's resilience and performance, is aimed at smart and fearless travelers who need reliable, resilient gear that can withstand the rigors of global adventures.

Drawing inspiration from the colors and resilience of the chameleon, Kamiliant's philosophy is to offer luggage that is colorful, tough, and reliable, reflecting the personality of travelers and supporting them during their adventures. The campaign, created by Frangipani Communications in 2021, aims to bring Kamiliant's core promise to life, ensuring a seamless travel experience.

The TVC series, directed by Manoj Pillai, takes Kamiliant into a playful, cinematic world where the suitcases become the unexpected hero. Through quirky, filmy scenarios, the campaign showcases the surprising toughness of Kamiliant in a way that's as entertaining as it is memorable.

The first TVC features Bollywood action star Tiger Shroff and actress Tamannaah Bhatia. In the video, Tamannaah declares, "Naam hai Tamannaah, kaam hai tabahi," before tossing a Kamiliant bag containing a remote-activated explosive. The bag withstands a powerful blast, remaining completely intact, scratch-free, and undamaged. Tiger delivers the campaign's powerful tagline: "Naam Hai Kamiliant, Kaam Hai Toughness."

Ms. Anushree Tainwala, Executive Director Marketing at Samsonite South Asia, stated that the campaign captures the essence of Kamiliant as being tough, stylish, and ready for anything. Mr. Prateek Bharadwaj, Chief Creative Officer at Lowe Lintas, explained that the campaign takes Kamiliant into a playful, cinematic world where the suitcases become the unexpected hero.
