Karushonok's allegations against Latushka are rejected by the latter.

In a shocking turn of events, Olga Karpushonok, a former lawyer, has accused Pavel Latushko, a prominent Belarusian opposition politician, of sexual harassment.

Latushko, who served as a member of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus (NAU), an opposition body established by Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya, has been at the forefront of resistance against Lukashenko's regime. However, recent allegations have cast a shadow over his reputation.

According to Karpushonok, the incident occurred during a subsequent meeting, where Latushko allegedly asked her not to discuss their date in the office and threatened her with problems in Poland, where she resides. She also claims that he asked her to write receipts for the money he gave her in euros.

Karpushonok states that she was invited to work at NAU by Latushko, who promised protection, money, and peace. However, she alleges that she was mistreated by the SBU in Ukraine, including threats of deportation and manipulation, which forced her to leave the country before moving to Poland.

The NAU team had suspicions about Karpushonok's possible collaboration with foreign intelligence services, leading to her being asked to take a polygraph test. After the proposal, Karpushonok stopped volunteering with the NAU team.

In response to the allegations, Latushko has commented that they are slander. A politician believes this accusation is part of a campaign to discredit his and NAU's activities.

A lengthy post under Karpushonok's name appeared on the social media of the Belarusian Republican College of Lawyers in 2021, detailing her experiences. Notably, she claims that her salary was never paid, but she received money from Latushko on occasion.

Latushko is considering filing a lawsuit to protect his reputation. As the investigation continues, the Belarusian opposition faces a challenging time, with questions about accountability and transparency arising.
