Kindle Recaps, a novel summarization service, is now accessible on Kindle applications for iOS devices.

Amazon has launched a new feature for its e-readers, called Kindle Recaps, which is now available on the Kindle app for iOS. This service provides a quick refresher on storylines and character arcs for readers of book series.

To access Kindle Recaps, users need the latest Kindle app version 7.40.1 or higher. On Kindle devices, select "View Recaps" from the three-dot menu within the series grouping. On the Kindle app for iOS, press and hold the series grouping to access Kindle Recaps.

Kindle Recaps content is generated with Gen AI and moderated by Amazon. The feature is available for thousands of additional best-selling English-language e-books in series. However, there are no publicly available sources naming specific authors involved in generating these recaps.

Users seem happy with the Kindle Recaps feature, and there doesn't seem to be any negative backlash for inaccuracies. This new service is now available for users in the United States.

Michael Kozlowski, a well-known writer on audiobooks, e-books, and e-readers, lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. While Kozlowski is not mentioned in the earlier bullet points, his expertise in the field makes him an interesting figure to watch in the evolving world of e-reading technology.

Despite the lack of specific author attribution for Kindle Recaps, the feature's positive reception suggests that it could be a valuable tool for readers looking to revisit their favourite book series.
