Kuwait readies for collaborative military exercise with GCC in Qatar

In a significant move towards regional security cooperation, Brigadier Abdullah Al-Otaibi, the Head of Traffic Affairs and Public Relations and Chairman of the Supreme Committee for Joint Mobilization Exercises, recently chaired the first preparatory meeting for the "Arabian Gulf Security 4" exercise in Qatar.

The meeting, attended by representatives from various departments including planning and evaluation, command and control, private security, ICT, media and public relations, medical services, and supply and logistics, was held with the primary focus on enhancing Kuwait's readiness for the regional exercise.

The "Arabian Gulf Security 4" exercise, to be hosted by Qatar, is a regional event aiming to advance joint security cooperation among Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states. The goal is to reinforce the collective security system in the GCC region.

Brigadier Al-Otaibi emphasized the importance of effective integration of roles during the exercise and stressed the need for coordination among all participating teams. He also reaffirmed the Ministry of Interior's senior leadership's commitment to this cause, as it involves advancing security cooperation and reinforcing the security system related to the GCC states.

The meeting also included representatives from the Central Operations Department. The countries participating in the "Arabian Gulf Security 4" exercises in Qatar are yet to be explicitly listed. However, the focus of the meeting was clear - to reinforce the collective security system and advance joint security cooperation among GCC states.

The "Arabian Gulf Security 4" exercise is a significant step towards strengthening the regional security system, and the preparatory meeting marks the beginning of a series of events leading up to the exercise.
