Lake District Reports: Updates from PP Ravensburg

In the picturesque city of Friedrichshafen, located within the Lake Constance District, several incidents have occurred over the past few days.

Early Tuesday morning, a physical altercation took place in front of a bar on Schanzstraße. According to reports, a 22-year-old man and a 29-year-old man were involved in the altercation. The older man is alleged to have sprayed his opponent with pepper spray and attacked him with punches. The individual is now under investigation for charges of dangerous bodily harm.

In a separate incident, a cyclist suffered minor injuries in an accident in the Tuniswald on Monday morning. No further details about the incident have been released.

A cyclist in Salem also had an unfortunate encounter. Between Saturday evening and Sunday morning, an unknown person stole an e-bike from Beurener Straße. The owner of the stolen e-bike has since retrieved the bike, and the police in Überlingen are investigating the theft. Witnesses are asked to contact the Überlingen police regarding the investigation into the unauthorized use of the vehicle.

In a more unusual turn of events, a fire occurred at a round bale press on a farm in Hefigkofen on Monday evening. The fire is suspected to have been caused by self-ignition of silage residue or a technical defect, with no evidence of arson. Fortunately, no injuries were reported, and the damage is estimated to be approximately €35,000.

The driver of the press, aged 40, reacted quickly and drove the press to his pasture to prevent further damage.

Another incident involved a 66-year-old Skoda driver who illegally drove through the underpass of the federal road coming from Tettnang. This action led to a physical altercation with a cyclist, aged 42, who swerved to avoid the car and fell, resulting in several hundred euros worth of property damage. The driver of the Skoda may now face a fine for the cyclist's accident.

Lastly, the police in Überlingen are also investigating the theft of an e-bike from a location near K 7756. The suspect likely left the stolen e-bike near the entrance to this location.

These incidents serve as a reminder to stay vigilant and follow traffic rules, especially in populated areas like Friedrichshafen.
