Large-scale IPTV piracy system discovered, encompassing approximately 1100 domains
A vast IPTV piracy network, spanning over 1100 domains and 10,000 IP addresses, has been uncovered in a recent investigation by cybersecurity firm Silent Push. The network, which has reportedly impacted more than 20 well-known entertainment and sports brands, has been linked to two companies, XuiOne and Tiyansoft, and one individual, Nabi Neamati of Herat, Afghanistan, who is believed to own Tiyansoft and manage domains associated with the network.
The affected brands include major players such as Prime Video, Disney Plus, Netflix, Apple TV, Hulu, HBO, Formula 1, Premier League, and UFC. The pirated services offered by this network provide premium content at heavily discounted rates, sometimes advertising thousands of channels for as little as $15 per month.
Investigators traced the network back to multiple sites, with technical fingerprints and social media accounts linking them to Nabi Neamati and his companies. However, without confirmation from the media companies, it is technically possible that some media companies may have a licensing agreement with the IPTV network, but no evidence has been observed to support this conclusion.
Silent Push emphasized that final confirmation of the network's content being entirely unlicensed depends on responses from the affected media companies. The investigation also found that the piracy network relies on private infrastructure for content distribution, making it harder to track and easier to abuse for large-scale piracy.
A website connected to the network, JVTVlive, claimed to run 2000 servers in 198 countries, a claim that appears accurate based on Silent Push's data. Pirated IPTV streams and related content continue to generate billions of dollars each year, posing a significant threat to the legitimate streaming industry.
The investigation is ongoing, and there is no publicly available information on the arrest or cooperation of Nabi Neamati, the suspected main actor of the piracy networks. Silent Push plans to discuss its findings in a webinar on September 23, 2025, titled Stopping Piracy Distribution Networks at Scale.
As the streaming industry continues to grow, it is crucial for companies to take measures to protect their content and maintain the integrity of their services. The uncovering of this IPTV piracy network serves as a reminder of the ongoing battle against digital piracy and the importance of vigilance in the face of such threats.
