Introspect Technology, a company known for designing and manufacturing innovative test and measurement equipment for high-speed digital applications, has announced the launch of a new family of interposers. These passive interconnect structures enable signal access right underneath the pads of an assembled memory device.

The new interposers are designed to address the challenge of preserving signal integrity in high-speed memory interfaces. They are available for both protocol analyzer probing and oscilloscope probing, offering a robust and high-bandwidth probing solution for memory devices and modules.

For oscilloscope-based probing, signal access is available for all pads of the memory device, including the power supply pads. The integrated-tip interposers are operated with an Introspect Technology RSH Remote Sampling Head and are compatible with any 50 Ohm oscilloscope. A typical electrical compliance configuration for oscilloscope probing includes the interposer, a RSH (multi-channel active probe), and a coaxial cable assembly.

In contrast, for protocol analyzer probing, the Introsposit interposers offer an easy-to-use push-on connector solution. A typical protocol analyzer setup includes the interposer, multiple RSH units, and the protocol analyzer instrument.
