Law enforcement authorities carried out two arrest warrants on an individual, previously sentenced to a 92-day jail term.

On Friday, August 15, 2025, a significant event unfolded at Magdeburg Central Station. A German national was arrested by the Federal Police officers at 10:15 AM.

The arrest warrants, issued by the Public Prosecutor's Office Halle (Saale) - Branch Office Naumburg in July 2025, were served by the Federal Police in Magdeburg. The man had failed to serve his sentences from previous convictions, leading to the issuance of the warrants.

The man was wanted on two arrest warrants. His past convictions include a conviction by Naumburg Local Court in October 2023 for petty theft, for which he was sentenced to an initial 300 euros or 60 days of imprisonment. In January 2025, he was convicted again for fraud and received a 350 euro fine or 70 days of imprisonment.

As a result of the arrest, the man was taken to a detention facility as he was unable to pay the outstanding amount of 635 euros. The Federal Police officers initially took him to their facilities before transferring him to a correctional institution, while informing the issuing authority, the Public Prosecutor's Office Magdeburg, about the warrant's execution.
