In the early hours of Monday morning, an incident occurred that has left the city of Wesel, Germany, on edge. Unknown individuals broke into a jewellery store on Homberger Street, according to the Police Authority Wesel.

The police are currently searching for a white Seat Ibiza car and five male suspects who are believed to have fled the scene after the break-in. The Moers Police, specifically the South Police Station (Polizeiwache SΓΌd in Moers), are leading the investigation and can be contacted at 02841-1710.

The suspects, who were all wearing black upper garments and black trousers, made off with various pieces of jewellery from the store's display. However, the police have not disclosed any information about whether any of the stolen jewellery has been recovered.

No further details about the suspects, such as their identities or the exact number of individuals, have been released by the police. The police have also not provided any updates on the status of the investigation into the jewellery store break-in.
