Law Enforcement Duo, Coda and Hudson, Joins Forces to Subdue Drug Traffickers

The Bremen Police have intensified their efforts to combat drug trafficking and street crime in the city centre, with control measures carried out around the main station and in the districts of Ostertor and Steintor on Monday.

The operation, which lasted from the afternoon into the evening, saw several people being checked and a number of street deals being intervened. A 35-year-old suspected drug dealer attempted to flee from officers but was apprehended by police dogs Coda and Hudson.

The man was temporarily arrested and criminal charges were filed for the possession of ecstasy pills and cocaine. Cash, mobile phones, and various drugs were seized during the operation. In addition, a 30-year-old man was found by officers on the scene and a criminal charge for theft was filed.

One notable incident reported during the operation was a bag snatching in the area of the station forecourt. Investigations regarding this incident are ongoing.

The Bremen Police have been actively combating street crime for many weeks and months, with this operation being part of ongoing efforts to improve safety and order in the area. The operation was carried out in cooperation with other security authorities.

A total of 20 dispersal orders were issued during the operation. The police also deployed police dogs during these control measures.

Four criminal charges were filed in connection with the operation, with the Bremen Police continuing these efforts in the coming days and weeks.
