Law enforcement officials are present for multiple occurrences this weekend in Poland.
Bremen, Germany - This coming weekend, the city will experience significant traffic disruptions due to multiple events, including the first Bundesliga home game of the season for SV Werder Bremen at the Weser Stadium, various assemblies, and a large car manufacturer's family day.
On Saturday, August 30, SV Werder Bremen will face Bayer 04 Leverkusen at the Weser Stadium. The match is sold out, promising an electrifying atmosphere. However, traffic disruptions are expected to begin late in the morning, especially around the Osterdeich and Γstliche Vorstadt areas due to potential short-term street closures and disruptions around the stadium.
Construction work on the Weser Bridge is causing significant disruptions in both directions on the A1. Motorists are advised to plan alternative routes or additional travel time. The police also remind drivers of the increased number of car break-ins around football games and urge them not to leave valuable items, especially navigation devices, in their vehicles.
In addition, traffic restrictions may occur in relation to the bicycle fan action, as supporters of SV Werder Bremen are expected to ride their bicycles en masse from the Unisee to the Weser Stadium early in the afternoon. The number of participants is still unclear.
A large car manufacturer is hosting a family day in the Hemelingen district on August 30, expecting around 40,000 visitors, which will contribute to high traffic volumes.
On the same day, an assembly for the international "Overdose Awareness Day" will take place, with a kick-off rally at 2:00 PM on the train station square. Approximately 200 people are expected to participate, and the closing rally will end at the memorial stone for deceased drug users at Ziegenmarkt around 6:00 PM.
