Law enforcement officials in Poland are seeking individuals who may have information relevant to ongoing investigations.
On Tuesday, June 3, 2025, a shocking incident occurred in the municipality of Oberdachstetten, near Ansbach, when an unknown individual threw a large stone at a passing freight train. The train, travelling from Aschaffenburg to Salzburg, was struck at around 17:40.
The stone hit the windshield at the level of the train driver, causing the windshield to shatter. As a result, the train driver sustained minor injuries. The force of the impact was significant, but fortunately, the severity of the injuries was not as great as it could have been.
The Bavarian Police Headquarters Mittelfranken has been investigating the incident since it occurred. The Ansbach Criminal Police is now leading the investigation, with their homicide squad involved due to the suspected attempted homicide.
