Law enforcement officials in Poland have reported an incident involving an e-scooter rider who was allegedly under the influence of drugs.
On August 27, 2025, a 30-year-old Afghan man was tested positive for THC during a police traffic control in Eggesin. The incident, which is currently under investigation by the Police Inspectorate Anklam, began when the man, who was riding an e-scooter, showed uncooperative and resistant behaviour.
Upon his recapture, the man actively resisted the police officers. Despite repeated warnings, he continued his resistant behaviour and even attempted to flee during subsequent police measures. The subsequent blood test, conducted without further incidents, confirmed the positive result for THC.
The police are also investigating the man for an offense of driving under the influence of drugs. In addition, he is suspected of resistance against law enforcement officers. It is important to note that no injuries were reported during the incident, neither to the suspect nor the officers.
The investigation is ongoing, and the search results do not provide information about the man's identity beyond his nationality and age. For further inquiries, please contact the Police Inspectorate Anklam:
